• Assortment of Mini Sweets: Seasonal Fruit Pate de Fruit, Meringue Swirl, Shortbread Cookie, and a Brownie Bite or seasonal delight along with fresh fruits.

• Hungry? Add a cheese plate for $13 which includes 3 different options: triple cream brie, black truffle pecorino, balsalmic onion asiago with roasted almonds, dried apricots and green olives.

For parties of 6 or more, a 20% gratuity charge applies.

The Tea Menu Includes:

• Unlimited Tea Refills: From our premium tea menu. (Fancy a Matcha Latte, London Fog, or Chai? Just $7 more per pot)

• Two Mini Scones: With house clotted cream and jam. (Current scone flavors here.*) Premium 4 oz scones are NOT available in mini sizes.

• Assortment of Mini Sweets: Seasonal Fruit Pate de Fruit, Meringue Swirl, Shortbread Cookie, and a Brownie Bite or seasonal delight along with fresh fruits.

• Milk Bread Tea Sandwiches: Four artisanal, seasonal tea sandwiches made with milk bread, they are a full sandwich cut into 1/4’s. They are delicately moist but if not eaten promptly, depending on the weather, they can get drier. 😉

• Vegan/Wheat-Free Options: Enjoy a conscious feast for $39 per person, featuring:

  • Vegan Cream Cheese & Cucumber

  • Hummus & Red Pepper

  • Red Pepper Spread & Arugula

1. Are we pet-friendly?
   Absolutely, we love your furry friends. Just keep 'em leashed in our courtyard.

2. Do we offer shade?
   Yes, sip your tea in comfort under our outdoor shading and parasols.

3. What if I have dietary restrictions?
   We offer vegan and wheat-free options. Just let us know 36 hours in advance.

4. How do I order special tea sandwiches?
   Place your online orders 48 hours ahead of your reservation for custom sandwiches. Please specify if you like to order kid’s sandwiches such as plain turkey and cheese, cucumber cream cheese or egg salads.

5. How do we order scones and specify scone flavors for large groups?
   For parties of 6 or more, please pre-select your scone flavors to ensure everyone gets their desired treat. Or we can choose a chef’s choice pm your behalf. We may run out of specific flavors and would be best if you have a particular hunkering for a special scone flavor we offer, please do let us know by texting us at 818-282-7299 to hold them for your party.

   Though afternoon tea often conjures images of posh settings, we're NOT your typical fancy tea house. We're a chill, casual café that happens to serve an amazing afternoon tea experience. But here at Sugarbird, we're dialing down the formality and cranking up the flavor. While we don't offer a traditional fine dining experience, we excel at serving exceptional flavors.

7. Do you offer Special Menus?

   We offer special menus from time to time for the right group and substitution requests may be available for additional fees.

8. What is the best way to plan an afternoon tea?

   • Do I need a reservations: Recommended, especially for weekends and events. Book through OpenTable.

   • Do you accept walk-ins: Always welcome! We may have run out of tea sandwiches or mini scones but we have other a la carte items to make your afternoon tea a treat. We HIGHLY recommend reservations for the weekends.

   • Do you have seating outside or inside? : PLEASE READ ***⚡️⚡️ We have limited indoor seating. Book ahead for groups up to 4. Most of our seatings are offered outside in our courtyard. Highly dependent on faire weather.

   • Weather: If it's not cooperating, we may reschedule your visit and offer a refund for prepaid reservations.

9. Menu options may change without notice, we will do our best to substitute with comparable items.

   • Due to supplies and availabilities of certain menu items, tea sandwiches, scones and mini dessert options maybe substituted with comparable items without notice. If you have severe allergies, our afternoon tea menu may not be the right fit for you as we may need to switch or substitute items the best we can with limitations on dietary needs.

Add On Options:

• The tea sandwich box can be purchased a la carte from our cold fridge for anyone who wants to add to their menu, this package includes 8 pieces of tea sandwiches made with Japanese milk bread in four different flavors.  Substitutions are not available unless pre-ordered 36 hours in advance.
